10th September - 10th October 2016 - The Norfolk Churches Trust Events & Competition.

Michael received the following email from the Norfolk Churches Trust:-
Dear All,
I was wondering if your Photographic Club would be interested in taking part in the Norfolk Churches Trust Bike Ride and Walk on the 10th September and perhaps its members would like to enter the Photo Competition which has several £100 prizes (see below). We managed to raise over £100,000 last year for the preservation of Norfolk church buildings which we would like to try and improve on this year.
There are number of competitions which run alongside the event:
A Photographic Competition sponsored by Cheffins Fine Art Auctioneers. Prizes are £100 for each category with the winning entries printed in the EDP.
The Wall of Fame, where the names of the people who visit the most number of churches in a day are posted on the Norfolk Churches Trust website.
The Prince of Wales Certificate, signed by the Prince of Wales himself, will be awarded to the person who raises the most money. Last year's winner was won by someone who raised a little over £1600 and the certificate will be presented this year by General Lord Dannatt at the Tower of London.
Please also look at the website for Children's activities that can be done during the ride.
I hope someone from the 'best club' wins!
Thanks and best wishes
Charles
